Velaris selected to develop Human Capital OBIEE solution for a large financial services company

Velaris was chosen to Implement Oracle?s HR Analytics. Our client presently uses Hyperion Performance Suite 8.5 to display Human Resource Analytics on dashboards. The future will utilize the Oracle Analytics using OBIEE as the dashboard platform, in conjunction with migrated reports from Hyperion 8.5 to Oracle EPM 11 Interactive Reporting. This project represents the first and only account utilizing this configuration.

Velaris is using 6 consultants to deliver the above in 6 months. The expected result will deliver OBIEE dashboards representing the operational PeopleSoft and Taleo (Recruiting) information by this summer 2009. While Oracle is planning to have the above technologies gracefully coexist in a future release (12 to 18 months away), this team is making it happen now for our client.

Velaris selected to migrate Hyperion System 9 to System 11 for a large financial services company

Our client is one of Oracle/Hyperion's largest installations (with over 25,000 users), and enjoys perhaps the lowest Total Cost of Ownership of any account. The client chose Velaris to execute the massive migration from Hyperion Performance Suite 8.5 to Oracle EPM 11. The project will take 5 months to complete and involves the migration of thousands of reports and dashboards which form our client's reporting portfolio.At completion, our client will be in a sustainable position using the new software, at a reduced ongoing cost, and have the choice of self support or using Velaris Support Services.

Velaris selected to install Oracle EPM 11.1 in a distributed environment at a government agency

Our client has selected Velaris to convert and migrate their Hyperion Performance Suite 8.3 implementation to Oracle EPM 11.1 in a distributed environment, this includes using Section 508 technology features. This is a multiyear effort that will institute better business processes around BI, convert the Hyperion folder structure, migrate data, and implement new improved Governance processes. Also as part of the project Velaris will deliver new multi-media and classroom training programs. Velaris has a 5 person team is leading the effort through planning, development and implementation processes to roll out the new software.
