Installation and migration projects can be very difficult and time consuming for your in-house staff to carry out given the unique skill set required to successfully deliver the project. The Velaris team can provide the expertise and experience required to execute a timely and cost effective installation or migration plan to create or upgrade your environment to System 9, EPM 11 or OBIEE. We also offer a discounted 2 month Support Services contract to all installation and migration customers.
Installation - What we do:
- Health Check - Review log files, Review Authentication and Security, Review reporting files and job status, Overall system check
- Shared Services - Configure application server, Configure external authentication
- Interactive Reporting - Enable products, Configure services
- Workspace - Configure Web Server, Configure Application Server, Register with Shared Services
- Authentication and security configuration
- System Configurations - Memory settings, Service redundancy
- Configuration of Data Connections
- User Acceptance Testing - Folder and File Structure, Reporting Documents, Security
A Migration will include the same processes as an Installation project plus these additional tasks:
- Perform Migration - Users, Groups, Preferences, Documents and Content
- Validation - Users, Groups, Preferences, Documents and Content
- User Acceptance Testing - Folder and File Structure, Reporting Documents, Security
- Decommission previous environment
